How long does it take for CORE Health to scheduled an intake appointment?

CORE Health values your time and knows that when it comes to Mental Health and Substance treatment it is important to schedule or contact the client in a timely manner. Our goal of scheduling an intake is within two weeks of the referral date. For all scheduling needs contact our front desk at CORE Main or CORE Ascent Youth Center!

What ages do you see?

CORE Health sees clients as young as 1 and as old as 100! There is no age limit when it comes to meeting the needs of the people in our community.

Can you pay out of pocket for services?

CORE Health currently accepts state insurance. If you choose to receive services with us and do not have state insurance we do offer services paid out of pocket with the option of a sliding scale. For more information on out of pocket cost contact our front desk staff.

What types of insurance do you accept?

CORE Health accepts state insurance such as Molina, Amerigroup (Wellpoint), United Healthcare, and Coordinated Care.

Does CORE Health have a prescriber?

CORE Health partners with Telehealth prescribers as well as two onsite prescribers. In order to see one of our prescribers you must be in services with CORE Health and be seen twice by your mental health or substance use counselor. Clients should notify their counselor at time of intake if they are interested in receiving medication management through our prescribers.

In order to engage in supportive housing and employment services do I need to be a client at CORE Health?

No matter if you are a CORE Health client or not we do our best to help. When you come into the Supportive Housing and Employment office you will be asked to do an initial assessment. Once that initial assessment is completed, insurance gives us the okay to authorize you for services. We then do our best to offer services related to housing and employment.

How do you get set up with services at CORE Health?

To start services at CORE Health a referral is not necessary. Potential clients can contact our front desk to schedule the initial intake. We will first check insurance then look for an opening date to schedule your 90 minute intake. Once the initial intake is completed you will either be assigned a counselor at the time of your intake or a week after the intake has been completed. Note: if you have not heard back from us please contact us to be scheduled or assigned a counselor.

Do we need to wear a face mask?

We value your physical, mental and all around health as our client. Whether that be if you choose to wear a mask or not, that is your choice. We do ask that if you are sick to please reschedule your appointment or choose to participate via a Telehealth appointment instead.
