Individual Therapy
Individual counseling (sometimes called psychotherapy, talk therapy, or mental health treatment) is a process through which clients work one-on-one with a trained mental health clinician in a safe, caring, and confidential environment. Counseling allows individuals to explore their feelings, beliefs, and behaviors, work through challenging or influential memories, identify aspects of their lives that they would like to change, better understand themselves and others, set personal goals, and work toward desired change.

Peer Support Counseling
Peer support counseling is a service we offer in conjunction with individual counseling. Peer support counselors are unique in that they have the ability to use their own lived experience to bring you encouragement, support in working towards your goals. They have “been there, done that” and can provide a unique perspective from someone who understands what you’re going through.

Medication Management
Medication management is a part of your outpatient treatment that involves the initial evaluation of the patient’s need for medications, and ongoing monitoring of the medication by a qualified CORE Health prescriber. It requires a thorough review of prescribed drugs and their possible side effects to create treatment plans and monitor their safety and efficacy.
CORE Health adult clients enrolled in mental health and substance use treatment are able to have access to our telepsychiatry care. Every client enrolled in medication management will have a team approach of both prescriber and counselor working towards improving the life of the individual.
